Das OnePlus mit Hochdruck an dem Upgrade nach Android 7.0 Nougat für das OnePlus 3 arbeitet, hatten wir bereits Anfang Oktober berichtet. War aber auch nicht überraschend, denn hier will OnePlus mit anderen großen Herstellern im Smartphone-Markt gleichziehen. Nun werden die testfreudigen User eines OnePlus 3 auch erstmals bedient. Denn für das OnePlus 3 gibts ab sofort die OxygenOS Open Beta 8. Diese bringt Android 7.0 nun erstmals auf das Gerät.
Stabilität und Performance sollen noch verbesserungswürdig sein – „zum Testen soll es aber reichen“.

Ebenso gibts aber auch eine kleine Liste bekannter Fehler:
- Android Pay may not work correctly
- Some stability/performance issues
- After upgrading to Android N, you will not be able to directly downgrade back to M builds. Our customer service team has a special build of Android M that will allow you to downgrade, but this will format your device. If you’d like to flash back to M, please contact Customer Support.
