Und noch ein Hersteller, welcher nun Angaben dazu macht, wann die eigenen Geräte mit dem neuen Android 6.0 Marshmallow ausgestattet werden sollen. Diesmal haben sich die Jungs von OnePlus im hauseigenen Forum zu Wort gemeldet und geben an, dass das Update auf Android 6.0 für das OnePlus One und OnePlus 2 im ersten Quartal 2016 zur Verfügung gestellt werden sollen.
Das neue OnePlus X wird dann erst später folgen. Genaue Termine wurden jedoch nicht gesagt und ebenso wenig, ob das Update dann auch global ausgerollt werden wird. Hier haben wir also noch etwas Zeit.
"For the OnePlus One, Cyanogen OS will be updating to Marshmallow in the first quarter of 2016. We created a community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus One, but this isn’t what the product officially ships with. We will be updating the community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus One when time allows.
The OnePlus 2 will also be updated in Q1, and the update will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor. We’ve heard requests for us creating an API for the current fingerprint implementation in OxygenOS, but have decided against this since we’re switching over to the standard Android M implementation soon.
We are working hard to bring Marshmallow as soon as possible to the OnePlus X, and will update you on a time frame at a later time.
