Vivaldi Browser – Buttons in Extensionleiste, Webpanel, mehr Fortschritt und Speed

Vivaldis Browser wurde mal wieder für den wöchentlichen Auftritt aufgemotzt. Tester und Entwickler waren nicht müde trotz des hitzigen Sommers und der nach Urlaub lechzenden Seele weiter am besten Browser aller Zeiten zu arbeiten.

Vivaldis hat jetzt im Panel sogenante Webviews, das heißt im Panel können Webseiten angezeigt werden.
Außerdem wurde in der Adressleiste die Fortschrittsanzeige mit Informationen über Datengröße und Anzahl der Abrufe ergänzt, so dass eher klar ist wie viel noch geladen wird.
Tabs und Lesezeichen wurden in bisschen in Bezug auf Schnelligkeit gepimpt.

Eine besondere Verbesserung in Bezug auf SSL/TLS wurde durch das Update auf Chromium/45 gegeben; unsichere Verschlüsselung durch schwache Diffie-Hellman-Schlüssel, über welche die LogJam-Attacke möglich war, sind passé.

Und natürlich wurde noch viel mehr an Bugs gefixt und Features eingebaut… wie das Changelog zeigt.

Vivaldi 1.0.249.12 ist für die Betriebssysteme Windows, Mac OSX und Linux erhältlich, sowohl als 32- als auch 64bit-Version. Dass er problemlos auch mit dem nagelneuen Windows 10 läuft, erwähn ich nur mal nebenbei.

Testet ihn, benutzt ihn, wenn ihr einen Browser wollt, der für euch Nutzer da ist.
