Update Rollup Juli 2014 KB2967917 für Windows 8.1 und RT erschienen

Auch in diesem Monat stellt Microsoft wieder ein Update Rollup Pack zur Verfügung unter der KB 2967917.
Das Update Windows8.1-KB2967917-x64.msu für Windows 8.1 x64 hat eine Grösse von 21.6 MB und die Windows8.1-KB2967917-x86.msu für x32 kommt mit 10.7 MB daher.

In dem Juli Rollup Update enthalten sind 18 einzelne Updates enthalten, wovon 5 speziell für Windows Server 2012 (R2) sind.

Zur Sicherheit vorher (wie immer) am besten einen Systemwiederherstellungspunkt anlegen.

Voraussetzung ist die KB2919355 (Windows 8.1 Update 1).

Bei mir ist das Update ohne Probleme durchgelaufen. Bei euch auch?

Windows 8.1 RT bekommt dieses Update Rollup nur über Windows Update direkt.

Nach der Installation und einem Neustart, kann man die Datenträgerbereinigung benutzen, damit alte Updates von Microsoft entfernt werden und man wieder Platz auf der Festplatte (SSD) gewinnt.
