Noch ist Windows Phone 8.1 mit seinen grundlegenden Änderungen als finale Version nicht verfügbar und bis die ersten Provider das Update bereitstellen, dauert es wohl noch einige Wochen oder Monate. Doch schon taucht im Netz eine Liste auf, welche den Update-Inhalt von Windows Phone 8.1.1 auflisten soll. Und diese Liste ist lang. Das Update soll bereits im Sommer erscheinen.

- Facebook messenger to have improved notifications, polished design and new set of fonts along with video chat, calling and improved emoji store
- OneNote to have many new features as Word.
- A possible merger Ability to set WordFlow’s guide line to accent invisible
- Give users choice to have invisible tiles on individual applications
- New lock screen gestures input and other unique, disclosed password input technique options
- Calculator upgrades to version 2 with more scientific features
- Month view drastically changed in design in calendar application

Die Kollegen von WPCentral.com gehen aber davon aus, dass sich die Liste einfach zu gut anhört um wahr zu sein. Diese soll ein Fake sein, weil bis dato noch keine Informationen zu einem Update 1 für Windows Phone 8.1 vorhanden sein sollen.
