Kurz notiert: Microsoft hat gestern bekanntgegeben, dass man So.cl zum 15.März schliessen wird. Microsoft Research FUSE Labs hatten das soziale Netzwerk vor 5 Jahren als Forschungsprojekt gestartet. Man konnte dort Bilder zeigen und teilen miteinander reden, Videos teilen und mehr wie es für ein Netzwerk üblich ist. Aber nun ist Feierabend.

Zum Glück blieb uns erspart das das Programm in irgendeiner Art Zwangsinstallation, Vorinstalliert und mit einem Betriebssystem verwoben wurde wie der Messenger seinerzeit.
