Dropbox arbeitet schon seit 2014 mit Microsoft zusammen. Es gibt schon die App für Windows 8.1 und auch das Windows Phone und natürlich auch die Desktop Version, die sich in den Datei Explorer integriert.
Heute hat Dropbox in seinem Blog angekündigt, dass man nun die Dropbox App für Windows 10 bereitstellen wird.
Speziell gedacht ist sie für die Windows 10 Tablets. Diese kommt dann mit Features, wie zum Beispiel:
- Drag and drop files into the Dropbox app from Windows File Explorer—and even between folders within the app—to easily move or copy them
- Use Quick Search to find what you need faster. Just start typing a search term to see your results—no need to use the search icon
- Set up interactive notifications to accept shared folder invitations without having to launch the Dropbox app
- Enable Windows Hello to use your fingerprint, face, or iris to unlock the Dropbox app, for extra peace of mind
- Add comments directly on your files, and bring others into the discussion with @mentions
- Quickly access recent files using Jump List. All you have to do is right-click the Dropbox app icon in your taskbar
Mit Windows Hello und auch den Benachrichtigungen, falls jemand mit dir etwas teilen möchte, ist diese neue Windows 10 Dropbox App doch um einiges komfortabler, wie die Integration alleine im Datei Explorer.

Kurz darauf soll dann auch die DropBox App für Windows 10 Mobile erscheinen.
Die App wird in den nächsten Stunden oder Tagen unter diesem Link erscheinen. Dauert ja immer eine Weile bis Microsoft Updates die hochgeladen werden auch freigibt. Ist ja mit unserer Deskmodder-App auch immer das gleiche Spiel.
