Win11 "NOLIMITS" - Windows 11 auf allen Geräten

Kein Wunder, dass die Erstellung der ISO so lange dauert, wenn in jedem Image in der Install.wim rumgefummelt wird. Eine passende unattend.xml im root der ISO riecht da für alles, boot.wim und install,wim.

Das ist nur ein anderer Weg, um Änderungen in der Registry durchzuführen. Da ich kein "In-Place" anstrebe, könnte ich das auch über eine "autounattend.xml" im Root reinbringen. Dateien zu löschen (nicht zu verändern) sollte doch auch okay sein?

Das habe ich anders festgestellt. Da ich diese ganzen Dateien aber eh lösche, ist es für dieses Projekt nicht relevant.

ich bin ehrlich gesagt auch nicht so angetan von der Idee, die Boot.wim und install.wim zu verändern (egal, ob mit NTLite oder per DISM); wenn es sich denn vermeiden lässt.
Zum Einen aus Lizenzgründen und in erster Linie aus Aufwand- und Zeitgründen.
Da fand ich die unattend.xml (Panther) bzw. autounattend.xml (root) Methode schon interessanter: einfach eine vorhandene ISO (mit allen vorhandenen Indexen) zu einer NoLimit machen.

- The tool provides multiple fixes (inclusing the option to install 11 on a legacy-Bios system).
- You can select AIO 1 or 2 to choose the recommended combinations.
- If Fix 3 is chosen alone, it will be applied solely for current OS.
- If Fix 6 is chosen, it will be applied solely.
- Extras options 6-7-8-9 can be enabled (recommended) or disabled regardless fixes.

* AIO 1 : UFWS + setup.cfg (2022/2025)

Pros:
- The recommended option.
- Circumvents all Win 11 minimum requirements (CPU-RAM-Disksize-TPM-Secureboot/legacy-Bios).
- Replaces ISO & boot.wim "inf\setup.cfg" with one from Server 2022/2025 ISO.
- Works for both, modern setup and legacy setup.
- Works for boot and upgrade scenarios.
- This fix cannot be applied to split install.swm files.

Cons:
- It does not work on hardware that isn't supported by Windows Server.

Important:
This lets Windows think it is installing server, that's why setup will show "Server" in the title bar...

Pros:
- Bypass CPU-Disksize-RAM-TPM-Secureboot/Legacy-Bios checks for new setup (Win 11 24H2+).
- Bypass RAM-TPM-Secureboot/Legacy-Bios checks for legacy setup (Win 11 all).
- Use the standard Win 11 setup for clean installs on devices without:
Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 & RAM < 8GB.
- Circumvents "TPM 2.0 is required" error when (inplace) upgrading.
- Enables to install on Legacy BIOS^/MBR only systems.
- Works for hardware that isn't supported by Windows Server.

Cons:
- To work for live upgrades for Win 11 24H2+, it needs option "AIO 2b" to run on the OS which would be upgraded (a small standalone script will be copied to the ISO).

stimmt! das geht wirklich sauschnell!
In einer Hyper-V VM Generation 1 getestet: löppt.
Ob das auch unter realen Bedingungen auf alter Hardware läuft, kann ich nicht testen, weil die CPU auch in der "Generation 1" meine Host CPU durchleitet. Und die hat SSE4.2

Ich werde vermutlich auch bei dieser Methode bleiben, ich hatte das mit der REG-Integration nur ausprobiert (was ja funktioniert, aber für den Normal-User viel zu aufwändig ist).
