Edge Chromium Silent Installer: benötige Hilfe beim Umschreiben eines Scripts

Edge mit msi Installer silent installieren ist klar: MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi /quiet /norestart
Ich möchte jedoch den Installer MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe nutzen und damit Silent installieren.
MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe /silent /install

funzt bei mir nicht.
Das Script von Aveyo https://gist.github.com/ishad0w/3b79bf8 ... 8446bb5ef8,
welches den Edge sowohl de-installieren, als auch wieder installieren kann, schafft das.
Jetzt würde ich gerne den Mechanismus dahinter
a) verstehen
und
b) anstelle Powershell reine Kommandozeilenbefehle nutzen.

Weiß jemand, wie man das den entscheidenden Teil des Scripts von Aveyo "herausschneiden" und entsprechend umschreiben muss?

Edge ließe sich wieder installieren mit AVEYO-Script. Zu einfach!
Wenn ich jetzt aber ohne sein Script

Ich nehme an, dass das AVEYO Script da bei der De-Installation irgendwas "verbiegt" (z.B. um eine ungewollte Neu-Installation von Edge zu verhindern und mit seinem Script vor der Installation dies erst rückgängig macht.
Was aber genau und wie - verstehe ich noch nicht so ganz.
Schön wäre ein Script ohne Powershell, welches nur die Installation von Edge mit MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe /silent /install wieder zulässt.
Alternativ: das Script von AVEYO, aber nur Installation und ohne Interaktion.

So ganz seige ich da auch noch nicht durch. Aber bevor der Edge wieder installiert wird, wird die Funktion PREPARE_EDGE bzw. PREPARE_WEBVIEW ausgeführt.

Danach lässt sich die "MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe", "MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe" und "XboxInstaller.exe" wieder normal ausführen, jedenfalls in Win 11 23H2 Retail.

Ich habe da einige Zeit dran gesessen, aber das Script ist mir zu kompliziert. Mangels eigenem Interesse bin ich da leider raus.

wird sich vlt. ja auch durch Zeitablauf erledigen; wenn MS dann den Edge Chromium durch EU Zwang de-installierbar machen muss.
