Gustave M. hat der Universal App Interop Tools S (S für Store) ein Update spendiert. Ein Tool mit dem man Zugriff auf die Registry (auch unter Windows 10 Mobile) Geräteinformationen und Zertifikate hat. Auch lässt sich über Remote ein Zugriff auf ein anderes Gerät herstellen.
In der neuen Version 2.0.54.0 wurden einige Fehler in der Anniversary und Creators Update behoben, die dazuführten, dass die App nicht startete. Neu ist dass die App nun mit Erweiterungen (Extensions) arbeitet. Beim Start hat man nun die Auswahl zwischen „Diesem Gerät“, „Test Provider“ und „Remote Gerät“.
"That’s why starting today, we’re launching Interop Tools L (Legacy) which brings back this device to Interop Tools S, while keeping the new features. This is especially useful for those old versions, and if the Store version is too unstable for you at the moment."

Gustave schreibt dann noch weiterhin.
"In other news this brand new Interop Tools S version addresses performance with providers, as a result, the provider code has been changed, and older provider extensions won’t work with this version of Interop Tools. New providers extensions have been published at XDA developers, so please update them for the app to work again properly."
