Windows Hello relies on services that don’t run in Safe Mode, especially the TPM (Trusted Platform Module), so now the PIN setup is stuck in limbo. Clicking “Set up my PIN” does nothing because the necessary background services aren't available. And yeah, if Advanced Options are missing from Troubleshoot, that screams a corrupted recovery environment.

The fix? Boot from a Windows installation USB, go to Repair > Command Prompt, and nuke the NGC folder (C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC). Then reboot, log in with your Microsoft account password, and THEN reconfigure the PIN. If even that doesn’t work, you’re looking at a system restore or a clean install.

Hi. Ich besitze eine MSI CLAW und eine externe Grafikkarte der Marke Bosgame GVP 7600eGPU. Verbunden über usb4. Nun erscheint beim einschalten: Something happend and your PIN isn't avaible.

Heute hatte ich nun guten Tag, die Meldung erschien den halben Tag nicht(habe ein Spiel heruntergeladen). Dann trat sie wieder auf. Was kann ich machen?
