Serious bug with the chat integration…

There is one serious bug in the current tabSRMM chat integration:

If you have the chat integration enabled and disable all protocols which are using group chat (currently: Jabber, MSN and IRC register as modules with chat.dll), Miranda will crash on startup with an integer division by zero.

In order to solve this, you’ll either have to remove tabSRMM from the plugins directory and then re-enable the protocols or install a new protocol which uses the group chat feature (you can temporarily make a copy of msn, irc or jabber and then restart Miranda - the new protocol will be enabled by default and the crash shouldn’t happen then).

The bug is fixed in SVN revision 117 (rev from May, 11).

* critical bug fixed (crash when no protocol is using the group chat module of tabSRMM).

* the option dialog now remembers the last tab page which was selected.

* some minor fixes when loading and unloading skins and/or themes.

Status Message Retriever 1.0.0.0

Retrieve status messages based on timer and on status change. It is made for protocols that store status messages on clients (so you don't get notified when some contact changes its messages). AFAIK only ICQ and Skype by now.

I only tested it with Miranda ver 0.4.3

It allows setting your nickname, avatar, status and status messages.

To get better status messages suport, use NAS or SimpleAway (the core away system does not work very well with this plugin).

Nachtrag: RC2 released.

Build #55 released

Finally RC2 is ready. Since that time the strict feature freeze is claimed on all core modules (*.exe, db3x, srmm, clist_classic, chat). All protocol plugins are going to be frozen in two weeks after this build.

In this build:
- almost all problems detected in Jabber protocol are fixed;
- no more fast disconnects in MSN (error 540);
- as usual, many minor problems were fixed.
