Hallo zusammen,

nach dem gestern das automatische Update von Vivaldi auf Win 7 prof. 64bit durch eine Fehlermeldung unterbunden wurde, ist heute die autom. Aktualisierung glatt durchgelaufen. Geduld hat sich ausgezahlt. Bei Linuxmint-18.1 cinnamon sind bisher solche Probleme unbekannt.

bei den Vivaldi-Updater unter Win 7 ist eine Merkwürdigkeit aufgetreten. Wenn ich ein gemeldetes Update herunterladen will, kommt eine Fehlermeldung. Danach schließe ich Win7 und gehe erstmal zu Linuxmint-18.1 cinnamon 64bit. Dann geht es wieder zurück zu Win 7 und nach der Update-Meldung funktioniert auch der Download und die Installation.
Also erst beim 2. Versuch. Ich wollte das Verhalten hier darstellen, falls es nur mir so geht.

nein. ist/war hier bereits ähnlich.
Am einfachsten und bisher immer ohne Fehler etc. ist, bei geöffnetem Vivaldi die Datei im Prog-Ordner update_notifier.exe zu "retunieren".
Könnte aber auch bei geschlossenem funktionieren.
