So mache ich es: Eine ISO "Windows 10 22H2" entpacken, die install.wim von "Windows 11" reinkopieren/ersetzen. Dann ist man auch den "appraiserres"-Kram los.

die Lösung war eigentlich sehr einfach:
mit einer modifizierten autounattend.xml hat es nicht geklappt, aber wenigstens benutzt das Windows 11 Setup jetzt wieder die alte Setup-Routine und damit läuft auch die autounattend.xml. Das war ja das Ziel.
Man nehme eine Windows 11 22H2 (evtl .geht auch 23H2 ?) kopiere den Inhalt auf die Festplatte, ersetze die install.wim im Sources-Ordner durch die eigene install.wim (hier: kastrierte Version von Windows 11) [url]https://github.com/ntdevlabs/nano11[/url]
und baue daraus wieder eine ISO mit der autounattend.xml im Wurzelverzeichnis (z.B. mit oscdimg.exe)

Für die oscdimg.exe braucht man nicht mehr das komplette ADK von MS herunterladen:
entweder gibt es die noch bei @g-force oder einfach mit Winget:

The whole point for switching to old setup for me is on the hard drive selection tab i use "tab" on the keyboard to quickly select partitions and delete them , in the new UI you need to use the mouse or like 8 tabs to reach the partitions i hate it as an it that do alot of formats daily, hope that help someone.[/quote]

Ich habe gerade die Install.wim in eine W10 ISO kopiert und das funktioniert soweit hier bis zur Editionsauswahl (dann habe ich abgebrochen)

hab´ die ISO jetzt mal mit „Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v6.1f2“ bearbeitet.

Danke! Es kommt aber der gleiche Fehler, wie schon bei meinen autounattend.xml Versuchen.
Wie geschrieben: ohne autounattend.xml geht es, wenn man an der entsprechenden Stelle ins "alte" Setup umschaltet.
Mit autounattend will das Setup nicht durchlaufen; verschiedenste Phasen ausgelassen. Nichts funktioniert bislang.

Ich glaube das ist so nicht möglich... langt dir nicht eine autounattend.xml welche alles überspringt und dann den Dialog „Betriebssystem auswählen“ anzeigt?

mal wieder etwas sehr Spezielles:
Eine kastrierte Version von Windows 11 will partout nicht mit dem "normalen" Setup installieren.
Wenn ich an der Stelle im Setup: "Setupoption auswählen" > "vorherige Version von Setup" (auf englisch: "Previous version of setup") wähle, funktioniert es.

Frage: weiß jemand, wie man das mit einer autounattend.xml oder unattend.xml (oder sonst wie automatisiert) steuern kann?
Das hier fand ich im Netz, hat aber nicht funktioniert.
