Keine .avi Thumbnails im Explorer

Durch die Installation oder Deinstallation von Codecpacks oder Playern kann es vorkommen das die Vorschaubilder für avi - Dateien verloren gehen.

Hier eine Möglichkeit sie wieder zurück zu bekommen.

• Notepad öffnen und den Text unten hinein kopieren.
• Abspeichern als avi.txt
• Danach umbenennen in avi.reg
• Die avi.reg doppelklicken und auf Ja klicken.

Danach wird eine *.avi Datei wieder mit dem WindowsMediaPlayer gestartet.

Anderen Player wie üblich mit "Öffnen mit" auswählen.

Sollte der WMP auf dem Rechner nicht installiert sein, kommt das Fenster zur Auswahl mit welcher Software ihr die avi abspielen wollt.

Programm auswählen und abspielen. Nun sollten im Explorer auch wieder die Thumbnails erscheinen.
