If protocol plugin is connected, ProtoLink finds contact nickname in online database.

When Miranda is not working, plugin start miranda32.exe but U have to wait for end of loading and click on link second time to properly pass an URL to plugin.

To turn off handling link of some type go to
Options > Plugins > ProtoLink

Nein,es öffnet das Messenger Fenster und von da kann man dan den Kontackt in die Kontackliste adden.

Mir zeigt das Plugin nur die ICQ About-Seite der Person an.

Der Browser leitet auf die icq seite um,das hat mit dem plugin nichts zu tun.Auf der seite giebt es aber ein button mit Add me to icq.Wenn man dadrauf klickt,kommt der Dialog zum speicher/öffnen der datei und man wählt aus das die datei mit icqfile geöffnet werden soll. Danach öffnet sich dann das message fenster und man kann den neuen Kontackt dauerhaft adden.

This plugin provides an automatic update API for use by plugins.

The plugin allows other plugins to register URLs for the location of zip or dll files containing updates - both normal and beta releases. URL's for pages containing the current version are also required. The plugin compares the versions of registered plugins to these pages (locating the version in the page using the 'prefix' data), and if an update is available provides the user with a list of updates allowing them to select which ones they'd like. It then downloads the updates to a temp folder, stops miranda, installs the new plugins, and restarts.

The options allow a user to choose between release and alpha builds (if the developer supplies both URLs), and also allows them to turn off updates for registered plugins. There's a checkbox - 'check for updates on startup', and a button - 'check now'.

Die inkludierte DLL loadavatars.dll muss in das \plugins Verzeichnis, sonst klappt nichts mit Avataren auf der Kontaktliste.

Automatic updates for miranda plugins and language packs.

This plugin will detect, download, and install updates for plugins and language packs on the Miranda File Listing that follow the rules which follow.

For plugins:
- plugin name in options->plugins must match the version on the file listing (i.e. PLUGININFO shortName field)
- plugin version on the file listing must match the x.x.x.x format, where the x's are numbers between 0 and 255 inclusive (i.e. PLUGININFO version field)

For language packs:
- file name must be 'langpack_<whatever>.txt'
- the file must contain a line of the following format (no unicode or other special chars):

; FLID: <file listing name - case sensitive> <version>

The spaces are required, and no space on the end of the line.
- the version must be of the form x.x.x.x (all four numbers) and each x must be a value from 0 to 255
- the file must be packaged in the root of the zip archive

This plugin also provides an automatic update API for plugin developers, so that you can register release and beta update urls for plugins on or off the file listing. See the m_updater.h in the source for for details and example code.

Why does plugin or language pack <x> always think it needs to be updated? This occurs when the version on the file listing doesn't match the version in that plugin dll or language pack file (for plugins, compare the version in the list in options->plugins with the version on the FL...for language packs, see the line in the file beginning with '; FLID:')

Das Problem beim starten und nichtanzeigen der Kontakte ist scheinbar behoben. Bei mir funktionierts wieder
