Unter Ubuntu darf die Version von chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra mehr variieren als vorher. Außerdem wird jetzt nach brauchbaren Bibliotheken wie das Paket chromium-ffmpeg bei OpenSUSE (aus dem Packman-Repo) und AlienBobs Chromium-Paket auf Slackware gesucht. Zudem gibt es für Arch Linux das Paket vivaldi-snapshot-ffmpeg-codecs (von Ike Devolder, aus dem Vivaldi Soprano-Team) welches die korrekte Unterstützung für Codecs bietet.

Bekannte Probleme
Das Verschieben eiens Tabs in ein neues Fenster führt zum Verlust desselben und kann nur duch Klick auf den Tab weiderhergestellt werden
Es sind einige Änderungen am Linux Repository gemacht worden, sodass Updates für einige Nutzer nicht sofort erkannt werden, dafür bitte in der Zwischenzeit den Download-Link im Vivaldi-Blog nehmen
