This worked for me to force the update.

In order to Force Windows 11 24H2 Feature Update, follow the instructions below:

Open the Local Group Policy via the start menu, or run “gpedit.msc”.
Expand “Local Computer PolicyComputer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsWindows UpdateManage updates offered from Windows Update”
Open “Select the target Feature Update version”
Set the first field (Which Windows product version would you like to receive feature updates for), to “Windows 11”
Set the second field (Target Version for Feature Updates) to “24H2”.
Click Apply, Click Ok, close the windows.
Either restart the system, or run “gpupdate /force” to force the system to see the settings.
Check for Windows Update (From Microsoft Update if you’re using WSUS), you should now see the update available. You may need to check a few times and/or restart the system again.

After following these steps all my Parallels VM’s got upgraded to 24H2 without being in the preview ring(s).

Na ein Glück, hat es jetzt geklappt. :)

Habe jetzt ein Upgrade auf Parallels Desktop 18 gemacht. Der unterstützt TPM 2.0.

Danach habe ich noch mal die MVS Version installiert und habe jetzt die 22H2! ohne Probleme. Alles Apps sind da und auch die Sicherheits App geht.

Habe jetzt ein anderes Image von euch, aber da wird auch die Sicherheits-App zerschossen...

Dann wurde die Installation automatisch wieder rückgängig gemacht. :kopfkratz:

Habe die MVS geladen und installiert. Lief komplett durch, aber unter Winver wird nach wie vor 21H2 und nicht 22H2 angezeigt...

Ist aus dem Beta-Kanal, wie etwas weiter oben beschrieben.
Das Backup hast du ja noch. Wenn du die Muße hast, probiere doch mal die MVS etwas weiter darunter.

Ich dachte ich nehme die mit der höchsten Nummer.

Definitiv.
Kann zwar bei ARM nicht so mitreden. Aber beim Inplace muss ordentlich was schiefgelaufen sein.
Welche ISO hattest du denn genommen?
Die aktuelle ARM oder die MVS-ISO?

Ich bin erst mal wieder bei 21H2. Gut, dass ich ein Backup hatte.

Das habe ich bereits versucht. Da die App aber anscheinend nicht mehr vorhanden ist, passiert nichts, außer das "reparieren" nachdem ich es geklickt hatte, dann ausgegraut ist.

Wenn du im Startmenü Windows-Sicherheit per Rechts anklickst -> Mehr -> App Einstellungen
Dort hast du die Möglichkeit, die App zu reparieren.

Aber schon komisch, dass bei dir die Apps so verrücktspielen. :kopfkratz:
