Da ich das Problem mit der Phantomapp "ms-resource:DisplayName" nach einem Windows11-Update aus Windows 10 heraus auch hatte und keine der bereits vorhandenen Lösungen funktionierte, hier mal meine:

Wenn nach einem Update von Win10 zu Win11 über Windows-Update oder nach Win11-Installation aus Windows10 im Startmenü ein Eintrag "ms-resource:DisplayName" erscheint, der sich nicht deinstallieren oder sonstwie löschen lässt:

- zunächst "ausgeblendete Dateien, Ordner und Laufwerke anzeigen" in Exploreroptionen aktivieren

- Rechtsklick auf tote App -> Mehr -> App-Einstellungen

- im neu geöffneten Fenster ganz oben den vollständigen Dateinamen mit genauer Versionsnummer (wenn diese vorhanden) notieren

- der Dateiname wird auch angezeigt, wenn man auf die Option "Deinstallieren" weiter unten in diesem Fenster klickt
(die Deinstallation misslingt jedoch mit einer Fehlermeldung - hier stehen dann auch App-Name und Versionsnummer)

- jetzt in "ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\" der aktuellen Windows-Installation gehen und hier die Datei
"StateRepository-Machine.srd" in Editor öffnen (aber NICHTS verändern!)

- in dieser Datei über die Suchfunktion und den genauen App-Namen den Installationspfad der App, die das fehlerhafte Icon
"ms-resource:DisplayName" verursacht, suchen. Ziemlich sicher wird diese Datei mehrfach in der Suche auftauchen,
aber bei irgendeinem der Suchergebnisse ist der Installationspfad zu sehen (teilweise hin und herscrollen nötig
wegen langer Zeilen), Achtung, teilweise habe Apps den gleichen Namen und unterscheiden sich nur durch die Versionsnummer, hier die
Richtige suchen

- jetzt im Windows.old-Ordner der alten Win10-Installation den notierten Ordner aus der StateRepository-Machine.srd-Datei suchen
(z.B. in C:\Windows.old\Windows\SystemApps oder C:\Windows.old\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\ usw.)

- den Dateiordner mit Inhalt aus der alten Win10-Installation in genau den gleichen Ordner der aktuellen
Windows11-Installation kopieren, wenn nicht vorhanden, neu anlegen und dann reinkopieren

- jetzt auf das Platzhalter-Icon "ms-resource:DisplayName" rechts klicken und "Deinstallieren" auswählen,
der Platzhalter sollte durch eine nun durchlaufende Deinstallation verschwinden (wenn nicht, war es eine falsche
Datei oder Dateiversion oder ein falscher Installationspfad)

- in den Dateiordner der aktuellen Windows11-Installation gehen und den aus der alten Windows.old-Installation
rüberkopierten Ordner samt Inhalt löschen

- Das Platzhalter-Icon sollte nun dauerhaft verschwunden sein

Für dieses Vorgehen hat man 10 Tage Zeit, danach wird laut Microsoft der Windows.old-Ordner der alten Windows-Installation gelöscht.

Ich habe das Problem nun gelöst. Ich dokumentiere hier für die, die das selbe Problem haben.

Unter %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\Packages (hier muss der Ordner erst als Inhaber übernommen werden) lagen noch 2 Ordner, die mit Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI_10.0.19041 begannen. Ich habe diese gelöscht, den obigen CMD-Batch aus eurer Wiki ausgeführt. Dann war es weg.

Den Inhalt hast Du ja auch schon gelöscht, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe. Explorer.exe war aber beendet zu dem Zeitpunkt des Löschens?

In "LocalState" sind auch och ein paar Dateien, die mir aber so erste einmal nichts sagen.

Das ist so lästig mit den Links für WinRT-Apps.

Ja, das habe ich. In dem Ordner liegt nur die richtige Windows Sicherheits App (Microsoft.SecHealthUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe). Die Windows 10 Variante ist da nicht zu finden. Danke, dass ihr mir mit Tipps helfen möchtet

Ich hatte auch schon vor längerem mal 1-2 Inplace-Upgrades per ISO gemacht - erfolglos.

Ein frisches Benutzerprofil hat das Problem nicht. Es muss also eine Kombi sein.

Ich habe leider noch keine Anleitung gefunden, die genauestens beschrieben hat, wie man ggf. ein neues Benutzerprofil anlegt und damit die alten Daten verknüpft, ohne sie kopieren zu müssen. Ich möchte den alten Benutzernamen nämlich samt Pfaden weiter verwenden. Das alte Profil könnte ich dann ja mit dem neuen Pfad verknüpfen und dann löschen.

Das ist in einer SQLite Datenbank gespeichert (%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\StateRepository-Machine.srd). Hier ist auch hinterlegt, welche Apps geschützt sind und sich nicht deinstallieren lassen.

Aber in dieser etwas zu verändern, ist relativ kompliziert. Und ob es etwas bring, ist eine andere Frage. Das ist kompliziert mit den Links für WinRT-Apps. So wirklich durchgestiegen bin ich da auch noch nie.

Da ist irgendetwas beim Upgrade schiefgelaufen. Die alte App sollte eigentlich gar nicht mehr existieren.

Die Windows 11 Variante ist also die einzige mit einem Ergebnis. Die Windows 10 Variante ist seit der Migration auf Windows 11 so da, aber eben nur als Systemleiche. Ich weiß leider nicht, wo der Cache noch gespeichert sein kann, außer eben im TempState Ordner von der Startmenü App. Ich rätsel da schon ewig rum.

Das passt aber dennoch nicht mit der Version. Bei der 22000 wäre das:

Version 10.0.19041.x von dem Paket habe ich da gar nicht. Das gehört eigentlich zu Windows 10.

Ist mir jetzt aber nicht so ganz klar, was den Fehler versucht.

Wie ist denn die Ausgabe von den beiden hier:

Get-AppxPackage -Name "Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI"

Get-AppxPackage -Name "Microsoft.SecHealthUI"

Mit "Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI" sollte keine Ausgabe erscheinen, da der Name in Windows 11 in "Microsoft.SecHealthUI" geändert wurde.

Und was den Link angeht, die werden dynamisch erstellt. Hast Du also zwei Mal die SecHealthUI, dann gibt es auch zwei Verknüpfungen dazu. Da das aber geschützte System-Apps sind, kann man die nicht so einfach deinstallieren.

Ja, unter anderem daran erkennbar. Man erkennt es aber auch im Startmenü:

Der Startmenülink der alten Version hat kein Funktion. Auch funktioniert die Umleitung auf App-Einstellung nicht. Man kann es also so nicht zurück setzen.

Ich habe das Verzeichnis der alten Windows Sicherheit kopiert. Füge ich es wieder in den Ordner C:\Windows\SystemApps ein und leere den Startmenü Cache, dann sieht man das richtige Symbol, allerdings dann als Duplikat zur eigentlich richtigen Windows Sicherheit von Windows 11.

Zusätzlich habe ich es auch in der registry gefunden unter: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\AppxAllUserStore\Deleted\EndOfLife\S-1-5-21-1089490218-3377653512-3120392070-1001\Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI_10.0.19041.423_neutral__cw5n1h2txyewy

Deleted\EndOfLife sagt ja eigentlich alles, aber der Fehler ist dennoch da.

Da mein Benutzerprofil recht groß ist, wollte ich die Anlage eines neuen Profils vermeiden, um die Daten nicht neu kopieren zu müssen.

Wie kommst du denn jetzt auf Windows 10? Wegen der App-Nummer?
Windows 11 ist auch 10.0.22000.xxx

ja, das habe ich. Es wird scheinbar was gemacht, aber nicht erfolgreich. In der Ereignisanzeige fand ich dann das hier:

Windows 11 denkt also es sei Windows 10 und will die App einfach nicht deinstallieren. Im Microsoft Feedback Hub habe ich bereits einen Report dazu eingestellt, aber das wird sicherlich dauern.
