Jetzt hat man ein kleines Tool bereitgestellt, dass berechtigte Windows-Telefone auf die neueste Version von Windows 10 Mobile aktualisiert. Das Tool nennt sich Over-the-cable Updater tool for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Mobile 10 (OtcUpdaterZip.exe).<\/p>\n<p><em>Der Over-the-cable Updater f\u00fcr Windows Phones ist eine OTC-Update-L\u00f6sung (Over-the-cable), mit der Microsoft Unternehmenskunden ihre Ger\u00e4te auf die neueste Version von Windows 10 Mobile aktualisieren k\u00f6nnen, ohne dass Ger\u00e4te eine Verbindung zu Windows Update (WU) herstellen m\u00fcssen, um Updates zu scannen oder herunterzuladen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Das Tool ist eine Anwendung, die per Doppelklick oder \u00fcber die Kommandozeile ausgef\u00fchrt werden kann. Die aktualisierten Updates werden auf den PC heruntergeladen und sind portabel, d. h. die Daten k\u00f6nnen zur sp\u00e4teren Verwendung auf andere PCs kopiert werden. Entweder nun mit 7zip per Rechtsklick entpacken, oder die Zip per Doppelklick starten und einen Ort angeben, wo sie entpackt werden soll. Ein Klick auf die otcupdater.exe startet nun die Eingabeaufforderung. Das Handy muss entsperrt sein und dann wird es angeschlossen. Das Tool erkennt dann das Handy und pr\u00fcft nun ob Updates vorhanden sind.<\/p>\n<p>Bei mir war nichts Neues verf\u00fcgbar. Daher auch die Nachricht, dass mein Ger\u00e4t auf dem aktuellen Stand ist. Wer es einmal ausprobieren m\u00f6chte, kann uns ja einmal mitteilen ob ein Update oder sogar Upgrade gefunden wurde. Gedacht ist es wohl daf\u00fcr, dass man das Update zum Beispiel f\u00fcr die neue Windows 10 Mobile 1709 einmal herunterl\u00e4dt und dann manuell auf alle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deskmodder.de\/blog\/2017\/10\/18\/windows-10-mobile-1709-diese-geraete-werden-unterstuetzt-und-erhalten-die-neue-version\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">berechtigten Ger\u00e4te<\/a> verteilen kann.<\/p>\n<p>@Nawzil hat einen Versuch mit installiertem Windows Phone 8.1 gemacht. Das Ergebnis ist wie \u00fcber die OTA Variante.
