msstyleEditor is a simple editor for Visual Styles (.msstyles Files). It allows you to mod
visual styles without using a hex editor or a resource hacker.
Its focus is modding, not creating a style from scratch

Kompatibilität
- Windows Vista and upwards (i guess).
- Requires Visual C++ Redistributable 2013

Tested with Visual Styles for Windows 7, 8/8.1 and 10.

What it CAN do:
+ Load an existing visual style.
+ Show the classes the style is made of
+ Edit most properties (Colors, Margins, Background Types, ...)
+ Export images *
+ Replace images *
+ Save the changes

*Only PNGs are supported!

What it can NOT do:
- Create a new visual style
- Change fonts (only link to a existing font in the style)
- Change transition durations
- Provide rich UI and features.
- Some other things i forgot...

How to use it:
Open the .msstyles file of the visual style with "File" -> "Open" in the menubar.

On the left you now see a tree control. It shows the structure of the visual style.
A style consists of Classes, Parts, Properties and Images.
The tree control shows you the classes, the parts of the class and possible images in those parts.

If you click on a part in the tree control, its properties will show up on the right. You can also edit them there.
If you click on an Image in the tree control it will show up in the middle. You can now export or replace it with "Image" -> "Export" or "Replace" in the menubar.

To save the whole thing just click "File" -> "Save" in the menubar. Please note that you have to save to a new file. Overwriting the old one is currently not supported.

Locations:
Unfortunately i dont know what exactly you have to change to achieve what you want.
You will have to figure it out yourself by looking what class comes to closest to what you want to change and
by experimenting a bit.

To get a general idea how all the controls are named you may look into the deskmodder wiki.

ich habe Deinen Editor auf Deskmodder gefunden.

Es wäre toll, wenn Du die Bedienung etwas ändern könntest. Das würde die Arbeit mit deinem Programm erleichtern.

Es ist auf jeden Fall ein fantastischer Editor.
