Das Entwicklerteam aus der “Microsoft Garage” hat gestern eine neue App für iOS veröffentlicht. Hierbei handelt es sich um die “News Pro” App – eine Nachrichten-App. Man kann die App schon als Konkurrent zu Flipboard betrachten, denn auch hier kann man zunächst innerhalb der App nach bestimmten Themengebieten filtern. Anschließend werden einem die News aufgelistet.
Unterstützt wird das App von Bing News und beinhaltet auch soziale Netzwerke. Derzeit steht News Pro nur für die amerikanischen iOS User zur Verfügung.

Mindestvoraussetzung ist iOS 8 und die App selbst wurde für das iPhone optimiert bzw. konzipiert. Wann mit einer globalen Verfügbarkeit zu rechnen ist, ist nicht bekannt. Dafür ist das App aber wieder kostenlos im iTunes Store verfügbar.
